The Fallen Heroes - 29 years old Captain: Dinesh Neupane, and 27 years old Co-Pilot: Santosh Rana - a crew of recent tragedy crash of Air Kasthamandap 9N-AJB at.Captain Dinesh Neupane, who along with co-pilot Santosh Rana heroically saved the life of nine passengers in a crash-landing of Air Kasthamandap's small aircraft in Kalikot of far-western Nepal. After the solo engine of the aircraft that took off from Nepalgunj to Jumla failed midair, Neupane and Rana had decided to crash-land the aircraft on a wheat field in Chilkhaya of Kalikot in order to save the passengers on board. Neupane died in the cockpit during the crash-landing, while Rana succumbed to the injuries two and half hours later.
